Roaming the Region

I’d like to take a moment to remind everyone about ProxyQuest.  Remember it, all the phone calls, emails, articles in newsletters, everywhere you turned someone was asking you if you voted your proxy yet?  Don’t panic, ProxyQuest is over and done with and all is well again in MensaLand.  But the response that we in Region 3 made in this effort was phenomenal.  I bring this up because another important event is fast approaching, your chance to vote in the upcoming Mensa National election.  You have already shown the effect of your voting; don’t let that talent go to waste.  In the last National election, less than ten percent voted.  If that had happened with ProxyQuest, we probably wouldn’t be having an election at all.

You now have the opportunity to determine the members that serve on the AMC executive committee.  Don’t waste it.  Some of the candidates are running unopposed; myself for Treasurer and Alan Baltis for RVC3, but that shouldn’t stop you from giving your support to the others of your choice.  Read their bios and campaign statements in the Mensa Bulletin and examine their records, then let’s show American Mensa that Region 3 can again lead the nation in voter participation.

Following is the final slate of candidates for National offices.  Although members of Region 3 can only vote for three National officers (Alan is already considered elected as he is running unopposed) I have listed all other officers and RVC candidates for informational purposes.
